How to play

The goal: grow a pile of crumbs and build your roach colony from one lone bug into an unkillable empire. Start by tapping, then let your colony earn for you — even while you're away.

🪳 Forage (tap the roach)

Tap the big roach to earn crumbs by hand. This is how you afford your very first generator — after that, automatic income takes over. +X/tap shows how much each tap gives.

⚙️ Generators

Your passive income. Each one earns crumbs every second, automatically. The number on the button is its price; it rises a little with every copy you buy. ×N is how many you own, and Max buys as many as you can currently afford. Higher tiers cost more but earn far more.

⬆️ Upgrades

One-time boosts. Some multiply your tap value, others multiply all income. Once bought they're permanent for the run and show a ✓. Grab them as soon as you can afford them — they pay for themselves fast.

😴 Idle / offline earnings

Your colony keeps gathering crumbs while the tab is closed (up to 8 hours). When you return you'll see a "while you were away" bonus. Progress saves automatically.

🦋 Molt (prestige)

When growth slows, Molt to reset your crumbs, generators and upgrades in exchange for permanent Resilience points — each adds +3% income forever. You'll rebuild much faster and push further. You need to have earned at least 1M crumbs this run before you can molt.

Tip: buy the cheapest generator you can't-not-afford, snap up upgrades on sight, and molt once a fresh run would catch up within a few minutes. Survive. Adapt. Thrive. 🪳
